Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accept service of and prepare responses to subpoenas by evaluating requirements, conducting research, and gathering necessary information.
  • Prepare and serve arbitration demands and other legal filings in compliance with applicable rules.
  • Organize and prepare arbitration exhibits for hearings and proceedings.
  • Draft, distribute, and archive correspondence, including court pleadings and arbitration documents.
  • Develop detailed reports and perform research to support supervisors and legal proceedings.
  • Maintain confidential and privileged department files related to member discipline, government affairs, and employee cases.
  • Act as the first point of contact for department clientele, including employees, executives, and senior studio leaders, ensuring the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Screen and manage visitors and incoming telephone calls in a professional manner.
  • Prepare, handle, and track mass mailings of checks and correspondence.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute department mail promptly.
  • Serve as backup support to other team members within the legal support unit.
  • Answer and return phone calls as needed.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements when required.
  • Schedule meetings, arrange conference calls, and assist with calendar management.
  • Attend meetings, take accurate minutes, and distribute summaries, as necessary.
  • Prepare and process expense reports for legal team members.
  • Generate professional correspondence and transcribe dictation when requested.
