If this is true, imagine a position as an Entertainment & Characters Operations Manager where you will oversee the daily operation of the World-Famous Disney Characters and Resort Performers, at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.
In this role, you will be responsible for the logistics and presentation of programming that includes Disney Characters and Resort Performers for all resort-wide teams, including Character greeting appearances, live show performances, and Character events in compliance with the Character Programs and Development standards. As the Entertainment & Characters Guest Services Manager you will serve as the main point of contact at the resort for any Character-related matter or situation that may arise.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Entertainment Operations Manager and is based on site at our stunning Aulani Resort on Oahu, Hawaii.

EDUCATION:

  • Required: HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Desired: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Entertainment Management or Hospitality Management
Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day operations and work under the direction of the Entertainment Operations Manager.
  • Supervise the general operation of all resort live entertainment events, spaces, and maintenance within Disney standards for the Entertainment Character, Emcee and Resort Performer and in all other remote locations within the resort
  • Provide visible leadership presence on a regular basis
  • Assign duties, plan and prepare work schedules, ensuring the area has appropriate staffing, provide effective mentorship, counseling and feedback to ensure desired Cast performance.
  • Conduct team meetings
  • Participate in the Interview process and make employment recommendations.
  • Partner with several areas within entertainment and resort-wide to coordinate weekly offerings and deliver one-of-a kind, enriching cultural guest experiences.
  • Maintain Disney show integrity, standards of conduct and quality levels
  • Educate other internal departments on the use of the Disney Characters and Entertainers with respect to their areas and teamwork
  • Perform written reviews and disciplinary documentation for all Character cast members. Resort Performer and Emcee Host.
