Overview $20.90 / hour This is a vacant position. Candidates must be a minimum age of 16 years. Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll provide guests with exceptional service when they visit the park. Perform for guests as a roaming drummer or percussionist in a performer capacity as designated by Entertainment Management Rehearse role for assigned show as directed by the production staff Maintain the show standards at the highest level by keeping assigned role at the performance quality at which the show was directed during several performance times per day, as assigned by park management Pre-set and check condition costumes and props, reports repair needs to the proper personnel Participate in mandatory physical and music warm-ups prior to performances to prevent injury Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards Perform all duties as assigned by Leads, Captains, and Entertainment Management including but not limited to: cleaning the break room and associated backstage areas, refresher rehearsals and retraining, attending meetings, etc. Maintain a positive rapport with guests and employees at all times Assist with other duties as required Responsibilities Canada’s Wonderland is home to over 300 acres of world class rides and attractions for the entire family, including a 20 acre water park. Candidates that are a minimum of 16 years of age Proven talent playing drums and/or percussion Candidates with high level of performance and stage presence to ensure a positive guest experience Someone who is able to roam with a marching-style drum weighing up to 30 lbs. while delivering energetic street performances Candidates that are able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Availability that includes working flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

The performer will provide exceptional service by performing as a roaming drummer or percussionist, maintaining high show standards through daily performances, and participating in mandatory warm-ups.
