Entitlements, Senior Manager, ISG Management We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Manager in Institutional Securities Group Management Institutional Securities provides products and services to corporations, governments, financial institutions and ultra-high net worth clients. Investment banking services consist of capital raising and financial advisory services,including underwriting of debt, equity and other securities, and advice on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and project finance. Our Equity and Fixed Income businesses include sales, financing, prime brokerage, market-making, Asia wealth management and certain business-related investments. Lending activities include originating corporate loans and commercial real estate loans, providing secured lending facilities, and extending securities-based and other financing to customers. Other activities include research. We are the Non-Financial (NFR) group within the Institutional Securities Group (ISG) management function. NFR is responsible for managing several non-financial risks across ISG, including but not limited to Compliance, Supervision, Conduct, Client and Product Risk. As an in-business risk management team, we partner with our ISG business stakeholders, as well as the technology groups and 2nd line control functions to understand business needs and their associated risks, execute on practical solutions, and maintain a global governance, monitoring,communication, and awareness strategy that underscores a culture control excellence. Maintaining existing user accounts and managing queries related to them. This includes configuration and linkages to downstream systems. Processing requests for entitlements to a variety of internal risk and inventory management applications. Maintaining existing internal accounts. Co-ordinating with global risk teams and senior management in case of any changes or escalations Following specified procedures for different platforms, applications, and products, managing multiple queues throughout the day, and ensuring delivery within established SLAs. Periodically reviewing the appropriateness and relevance of user entitlements to various applications and ensuring there are adequate information barriers. Driving the entitlements strategy for ISG globally which includes managing key entitlements initiatives and projects related to transfers, vendor applications, separation of duties, cyclical and ad hoc entitlement reviews Participating in / responding to periodic entitlement audit inquiries and reviews. Producing metrics/reporting of work done by the team, and data integrity. Maintain procedures database for reference. Using the report generation tool to generate/distribute business critical reports in response to business requests. Representation in Firmwide working groups related to entitlements and data leakage and advocating for solutions benefiting the process. Identifying and escalating key issues and working on identifying automation opportunities Project Management for ISG globally What you’ll bring to the role: Graduate/Post Graduate/ MBA/CA/CFA with a First Class or above throughout 8-10 years’ experience in entitlements management, trade support or similar background Strong working knowledge of financial products including Fixed Income, Equity products and Derivatives Understanding and strong focus on the mechanics of a control environment, including escalation and risk-related issues Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail; strong organizational skills Team player with ability to work in global environment Strong MS-Excel knowledge such as the ability to run V-Lookups and create Macros a plus Knowledge of automation tools like UI path, Robotics, Microsoft Power platform etc would be an added advantage Strong analytical and research skills Ability to prioritize assignments effectively WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
