We are seeking an Entomologist with a background in Plant Protection/Integrated Pest Management to join our team as a Research Scientist.
The Entomologist will work at Neudorff North America, located in Saanichton on Vancouver Island. This is a full time in place work position.
Requirements: Driver’s license, own transportation and ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.

· Lead Insecticides (primarily soil/lawn insects) and Molluscicide projects
· Develop and implement novel ideas for soil insect/slug/snails control products.
· Design and participate in laboratory, greenhouse, and field bioassays.
· Data compilation and analysis
· Preparation of written reports and oral presentation of results for meetings.
· Supervise technicians and Co-op students.
· Cooperate with chemists to make/modify product formulations.
· Maintain files.
· Search and review literature.
· Provide information for registrations and patent applications.
· Attend professional meetings and conferences of related fields to get updated on new research areas and technologies.
· Interact with other departments as needed.
