OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry Level Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience in various accounting functions. The successful candidate will assist with daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting principles.

EXPERIENCE

  • Familiarity with financial concepts, technical accounting principles, and corporate accounting practices is preferred.
  • Experience with various accounting software packages such as Workday, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, Ceridian, or Kronos is a plus.
  • Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and journal entries is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience in public accounting or financial services is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong math skills and proficiency in Excel are necessary for efficient data handling. This Entry Level Accounting Clerk position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment while contributing to the overall success of our finance team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in the preparation of journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data.
  • Support payroll management processes, including data entry and verification using software such as ADP and Excel.
