Burnaby Strategic Consulting. is seeking entry-level individuals to fill our Administrative Assistant position! As one of the fastest-growing sales and marketing firms in the Burnaby area, we are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to expand our team. As the Entry Level Administrative Assistant, you will be trained as a cross-functional department aide. Your primary responsibilities would include providing a welcoming and friendly first impression of our company, via phone or in person, handling front and back office administrative duties, taking incoming and outgoing phone calls from future employees, and assisting the HR and hiring teams throughout the recruiting and hiring process.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities
  • Manage and organize inquiries of job seekers, maintaining flow and efficiency throughout the hiring process.
  • Generate conversation with candidates to pique their curiosity and interest in available job openings
  • Act as the face and voice of the company, demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Manage candidate applicant tracking systems and other internal reports and resources on a daily basis
  • Administer interview reminders, confirmations, and ensure candidate communication is positive, pleasant, and comfortable
  • Answer all incoming calls and assist in navigating candidates to the appropriate steps within the interview process
  • Conduct a high level of outbound calls to prospective candidates utilizing various candidate sourcing systems in order to schedule appointments with appropriate department leads
  • Increase the retention of candidates within the recruiting process by engaging candidates in exciting and meaningful conversations
