Sounds awesome, but what would you be doing in this role?
The Engineering Intern is an entry level Engineer position responsible for Civil Engineering design and project management.. This role will provide opportunities to develop engineering design and problem solving skills as you begin
your journey towards becoming a Civil Engineer, The Engineering Intern will work under the supervision of a Senior
Civil Engineer and in collaboration with other disciplines as part of an integrated project team, delivering high quality
design solutions. This role will also collaborate with other stakeholders such as city, municipal and government departments,
developers, engineers, building contractors.
The Civil Engineering Intern will uphold the Gerrits’ Core Values to ensure we are building strong relationships with our clients and contributing to the continued growth and success of the Company
What qualifications would you need to be successful in this role?
o Completed post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering
o In the process of obtaining P.Eng or obtained within the last year.
o 1-4 years of experience in an Engineering Intern role
o Proficient with Microsoft Office, Civil 3D, AutoCAD
o Knowledge of various Civil Engineering design software
