From construction management and observation/inspection services to laboratory testing and materials and forensic engineering, our Construction Services market helps to develop and maintain America’s infrastructure and supply chain and is a recognized industry leader with more than 25 accredited laboratories.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work independently and as a team member, maintain composure, and work effectively in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to use a company provided laptop or iPad and a working knowledge of MS Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass drug test.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bend, stoop, and lift up-to 50 pounds (22.68 kg) repetitively and over 50 pounds (22.68 kg) using handling equipment (hand truck, etc.).
• Ability to operate heavy equipment as necessary (i.e., ultrasonic non-destructive testing machine, concrete cylinder press, etc.).
• Ability to maintain safe mobility over construction obstacles by foot and ladder, traversing over rough broken ground and steep surfaces.
• Ability to work outside in variable weather at field sites and in labs with various levels of safety protection required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Construction-related training or technical training desirable
• ACI or ICC certification desired

As an Entry Level Construction Materials Engineering and Testing (CoMET) Technician you will be exposed and trained to perform routine quality control test procedures on commercial, industrial, public and private construction projects from the ground up. No experience required! We are committed to investing in our team members and will provide training and advancement opportunities through technician certification programs. This position is available in Mechanicsburg, PA area.
