Description

We are looking for an Entry Level Diesel Technician to join our Distribution business in Albany, NY. In this role will make an impact in the following ways: * Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles * Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies * Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products * Maintain own tools * Assist in cleaning, inspecting, disassembling, and other basic workshop activities. * Learn Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and follow documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and maintenance. * Complete required documentation, such as work completed forms and time sheets, either by hand or through business system input screens. * Complete training in-line to job skill and business requirements. * Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of the work area and tools. * Project a positive company image by interacting cooperatively, supportively, and courteously with fellow employees, customers, and management, displaying a professional attitude. * Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues or incidents to the supervisor.
