Key Responsibilities Assist with the design of landfill cells, closures, and leachate collection, treatment, and disposal systems. Support the development of gas collection systems, groundwater monitoring networks, and stormwater controls for solid waste facilities. Participate in permitting efforts, master planning, and financial analyses such as cost estimating and rate studies. Prepare drawings, technical reports, and permit applications under the guidance of experienced engineers. Contribute to project modeling, data analysis, and field reviews to ensure practical, regulatory-compliant solutions. Support quality control efforts, ensuring all deliverables meet company, industry, and client standards. Communicate project progress to supervisors and meet deadlines for assigned tasks. Experience & Qualifications Education: BS in Engineering from an accredited college or university. Registration: Engineer Intern (EI) Experience: No prior experience required; 1-year student internship or a master’s degree preferred. Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Esri ArcGIS, stormwater modeling software, or AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred. Other: Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
