If you are interested in building equipment that helps save lives, please apply. Overview Design parts, weldments, and assemblies to meet department objectives using CAD and other software. Responsibilities · Works with Production, Engineering, Machine Shop, and Sales, to interpret design requirements, determine detail required, and coordinate design. · Resolves design issues · Uses CAD software to create designs, drawings, and assemblies · Ensures design meets specifications and is able to be manufactured · Ensures design complies with ASME standards · Verifies parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness · Organization of drawing files for complex assemblies · Process documentation · Performs other assignments under direction of supervisor or manager Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering required · Must be proficient with 2-D and 3-D computerized drafting programs · Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Software · Must have excellent communication and organizational skills · Ability to interact with all levels of management and employees · Experience in Fire Fighting preferred, but not required · Engineering internship or previous engineering work experience preferred · Candidate must pass pre-employment background check, drug-screen, and physical agility test Benefits · Paid Time Off and Sick Time · 401k matching · Health and Dental Benefits · Life Insurance · Dental Bill reimbursements · 9 Paid Holidays · We believe your Birthday is a holiday and is a treated as such!
