We are currently seeking a full-time Entry Level ERISA Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance Department. Our Compliance Department performs year-end nondiscrimination testing and Form 5500 reporting, prepares and maintains plan documents, and provides ERISA technical support for our clients’ retirement plans. This is a fully remote position that is based out of our office headquarters in Mobile, AL and reports to the Director of Compliance. This position is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the 401(k) industry. In addition to full training being provided, this position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, group life, 401(k), FSA, and more. Key Responsibilities: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation). Prepare nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500s, and plan document amendments for assigned clients Learn and maintain a working knowledge of qualified plan regulations Learn and maintain a working knowledge of all software and tools necessary to perform job duties, particularly Ft William applications used to complete nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500s and plan documents Complete additional Compliance related projects as assigned Respond to ERISA technical questions from plan sponsors or administrators Follow policies and procedures set forth by the company Requirements Required Skills: (these are required to enable job holder to perform the essential functions of the job). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly in Excel. Ability to obtain a strong proficiency in the use of Relius, Ft William and the Company CRM platform. Ability to learn and understand department processes, procedures and standards Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to use general office equipment including computer keyboard by touch, voicemail system, copy machine, and printers. Ability to proficiently read, write and communicate clearly in English Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with, and among employees Effective communications skills with ability to handle difficult people or situations Experience and Education Requirements: Accounting or finance degree preferred. One year related work experience and accounting classes may be substituted for degree. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required. Prior experience with Relius Administration or similar software is a plus.
