Description This position will assist in maintaining, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on the batch plant equipment as well as general building maintenance. This position will require one to work with experienced individuals, in a safe manner, to keep operations continuous. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance on batch plant and all components. Perform basic mechanical repairs on conveyors, scales, bins and other batch plant equipment. Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA regulations. Be able to respond to break downs in a timely manner to minimize downtime. Maintain a safe, clean working environment. Document completed maintenance projects and keeps track of parts and equipment. Qualifications: Highschool diploma or GED required. Basic understanding of power tools and hand tools. Willingness to learn fabrication and minor industrial electrical components Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift over 50lbs. Must be able to stand, climb and stay active throughout the entire work day. Schedule: This is primarily a day shift position (typical day is 6a-330p) but maintenance will be done after hours when needed. Hours will vary depending on the season. There will also be instances where working a night pour may be needed but that will come with communication from leadership.
