Description Premier Infrastructure and Energy is growing, and we're on the lookout for a driven Entry Level Installation Technician to join our dynamic Fleet Department! This role offers valuable hands-on experience and opportunities for growth within a fast-paced, supportive team environment. Our Fleet Department supports all field employees by providing essential services, including but not limited to: Installing and maintaining vehicle telematics and tracking devices Installation of graphics on company vehicles. Performing basic vehicle equipment installations and system checks Assisting with fleet inspections and equipment audits Supporting preventative maintenance tasks and vehicle readiness Maintaining accurate records of installations and service reports Responding to field service needs under the direction management Travel to various job sites throughout NYS for vehicle transportations, preparations, retirement, & supply deliveries Shipping & Receiving This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, mission-driven team that ensures our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and in full support of our operations. Requirements Valid NYS Driver’s License Ability to schedule your tasks to ensure a timely completion Ability to learn multiple different types of computer software’s Ability to meet physical demands including extended periods of standing and walking throughout the day, able to lift and carry 50+ pounds, and push/pull up to 100 pounds. Availability to work nights and weekends when required Ability to travel on short notice
Responsibilities
The technician will be responsible for installing and maintaining vehicle telematics and tracking devices, installing graphics on company vehicles, and performing basic equipment installations and system checks.
