MSI Metro Sales Inc. is seeking an Employee-Owner, Entry level Integration Specialist, internally known as Business Process Designer, to assist in design, development, and implementation solutions to connect MSI software applications (Primarily Docuware) with the client internal system, ensuring seamless data flow and communication. This position will work with various technologies and protocols, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate software systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance and reliability.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, strong problem-solving and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, to ensure timely delivery, and provide exceptional customer experience. The individual would have exposure to programming languages (like Python), basic understanding of APIs, middleware, cloud services, and networking concepts.

THE IDEAL TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Exposure to languages such as Python (ideal).
  • Entry level SQL database knowledge, VB Scripting knowledge, .NET.
  • Understanding REST API, web services, and middleware solutions is vital for creating connectors and adapters.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP) and messaging queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) to ensure reliable data exchange.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and tools for deployment automation and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of computer networking, including concepts like VLANs and distributed systems networking, is important for integrating networked systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Ability to attain certifications in cloud services, agile methodologies, or specific integration platforms as requested by the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Pre and Post sales solutions support: Participate in presentations, manage the project(s) through sprints and ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders, and post implementation technical follow up.
  • System Design and Implementation: Design and build integration solutions that enable different systems to communicate and work together effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, sales engineers and client software engineers, and other stakeholders to align objectives and ensure smooth integration.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Write and execute tests to verify that interfaces function correctly and to diagnose and resolve software issues.
  • Optimization: Enhance system reliability, performance, and efficiency by streamlining processes and improving data flow between platforms.
  • Code Development: Write high-quality, maintainable code for integration flows and adapters to connect disparate systems.
