Description SUMMARY: Become a part of our team as a Machinist! We are an oil and gas manufacturing facility seeking to enhance our team. In this role, you will operate CNC lathes and mills. We are looking for candidates who have a drive to learn and work as a team. WORK SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: · Operate various CNC machines (lathes and mills) · Inspect and ensure the quality of finished products produced · Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness · Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed beyond the primary job scope Requirements EHS REQUIREMENTS: · Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company’s TRIR goals · Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals · Complete, and actively participate in all the company’s Safety Skills training requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS: · High School diploma or GED (CNC machine classes are a plus) · Strong communication skills, able to use and understand decimals, fractions and use measuring devices. · Candidates must be able to successfully pass a drug test and background check as part of the employment process. PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: · Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. · Must be able to maneuver to all areas of a shop or warehouse. · Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. · Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area. · Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools. · Must be able to work at a fast pace. · Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions. · Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. · Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. WORK ENVIRONMENT: · Work primarily occurs in a heated, non-air-conditioned manufacturing environment. · Hazards may include proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, and exposure to chemicals.
