Key Responsibilities: * Assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. * Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Use hand and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. * Keep accurate records of services and repairs completed. * Communicate effectively with senior mechanics and customers about the condition of vehicles. * Continuously learn and develop new skills under the guidance of senior team members Qualifications: Education: * High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: * Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques. * Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills. * Good communication skills and a positive attitude. * Previous experience in automotive repair is a plus, but not required. Skills: * Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostic procedures. * Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. * Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems (preferred). * Ability to read and follow technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders. * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. * Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Good communication skills for coordinating with drivers, supervisors, and other technicians. * Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple maintenance tasks. * Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, procedures, and equipment. * Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. * Basic computer skills for completing digital maintenance logs and service reports. Working Conditions: * Full-time position, Monday through Friday. * Travel, evenings, and weekend hours may be required. * Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools. * Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time.
