Our client, one of Canada’s Big 5 Banks, is looking to add junior-level Back Office Investment Processing Officers to their corporate team in downtown Toronto. This is a hybrid role — successful candidates must be comfortable working onsite 4 days a week. Must-Have Skills & Experience: Strong communication skills (English – written and verbal communication is crucial) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Minimum 6 months of banking related experience (back office, teller - most ideal) What You’ll Be Doing: Manage high-volume financial transactions efficiently using a ticketing system. Process assigned requests within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and accurate completion. Handle a variety of transaction types, including deposits, withdrawals, and contributions across investment accounts. Maintain and update client information with precision and attention to detail. Perform data entry and reconciliation for investment and banking products to ensure accuracy and compliance. Adhere to internal policies and regulatory standards, safeguarding client and organizational integrity. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and escalate issues when necessary. Support back-office operations for registered and non-registered products, including RRSPs, TFSAs, GICs, and mutual funds.
