This is a great opportunity to work in the Commercial Airplanes South Carolina Design Center, as a Structures Stress Analysis Engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring for Entry Level or Associate Structures Stress Analysis Engineer to work at our North Charleston, SC location.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in one of the following engineering majors: Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil, and select Structures degrees

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Demonstrate engineering knowledge as a level 1 engineer either from team projects, internship(s), or job experience. Structural or aerospace knowledge a plus.
  • Demonstrate engineering knowledge as a level 2 engineer ideally working in a Structural and/or Aerospace industry.
  • ABET accreditation standard Degree

Responsibilities
  • Perform structural, systems, or interior analysis using well defined analysis tools.
  • Support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Assist with supplier development, test and production activities and coordination with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
  • Define and document certification and test results to substantiate compliance to customers’ and regulatory agencies’ (FAA, EASA, and other national agencies) requirements.
  • Support production and provide technical solutions, including involvement in factory build, test and associated troubleshooting.
  • Help develop new materials, methods, tools, and designs to support future programs.
    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the North Charleston, SC location.
