Hunton Services, a division of the Hunton Group, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented recent graduate with a degree in Finance and a passion for data to join our team as an Entry-Level Power BI Analyst. In this role, you will support the analytics teams by transforming financial data into insightful reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (recent graduates welcome).
  • Basic understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Excel (pivot tables, lookups), and data visualization concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Internship or academic project experience with Power BI or other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL).
  • Exposure to financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, DAX, or Power Query (M Language).
  • Interest in developing a career in business analytics, FP&A, or data-driven finance.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for financial and operational metrics.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze financial data from multiple sources (Excel, databases, ERP systems).
  • Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
  • Support month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes with data visualization.
  • Identify trends and provide actionable insights to support business decision-making.
  • Learn and follow data governance, privacy, and security standards.
