ENTRY LEVERL PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising adults with disabilities working on the production floor in a manufacturing and assembly/packaging environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedure and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. The Supervisor may be responsible for supervising multiple production lines while achieving optimal performance of their assigned tasks; helping to solve problems; meeting quality and production standards and maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area. Duties: Provides line set ups that best accommodates each employee and the product being run on a particular line while maintaining production efficiencies. Meeting quality standards set forth by the Bill of Material (BOM) Specifications administered by Quality Control Personnel. Enter labor electronically, production and quality data within our software system. Train, coach, encourage and motivate employees and workers to efficiently perform their assigned tasks. Provide protective oversight of employees through encouragement, moral support and patient direction. Report any employee behaviors, incidents and/or accidents to Production Manager. . Maintain work area in a safe, clean and organized manner. To comply with all SQF procedures and policies, and is responsible to report food safety problems. Follow all policies and procedures established by Company. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals. Other related duties as directed by management. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required. Experience: Prior experience working with people with disabilities or related experience desired. Excellent communication verbal and written skills required. Attention to detail required. Experience with Nulogy software preferred. While performing the essential functions of this position, Supervisor must regularly communicate effectively, both verbally and through active listening. The role frequently requires walking, sitting, reaching with hands and arms, climbing, balancing, and occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The position involves both fine and gross motor skills, as well as the ability to reach, turn, and twist above and below waist level. The Supervisor must be able to push or pull up to 25 pounds and lift and carry up to 30 pounds of static weight. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment/Conditions: The work environment characteristics will vary depending upon the work environment of the customer. Specific characteristics, representative of those an employee will encounter while performing the essential functions of the job will be described. Regular handling of materials; may involve repetitive motions. Exposure to moderate noise levels and occasional dust. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and closed-toed shoes must be worn. Must be able to work in a paced environment and meet production deadlines. Reports to: Production Manager Hours: Full Time M-Th 7:00AM to 3:30PM Fri 6AM - 2:30PM No nights, no weekends.
