JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will help ensure our products consistently meet the highest quality and food safety standards through thorough inspections, monitoring, and reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a solid understanding of quality practices in a manufacturing environment. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or degree in Food Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred, but not required)
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese (spoken and written)
  • Ability to work both shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM / 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), as well as weekends and public holidays as required

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain all aspects of the Enhanced Food Safety Program and related documentation
  • Conduct regular plant floor inspections to ensure compliance with food safety procedures
  • Verify records on-site, report deviations, and follow up with management
  • Assess sanitation effectiveness and escalate any cleaning issues or microbial risks
  • Audit processes and implement corrective actions for food safety concerns
  • Inspect incoming raw materials against company specifications and safety standards
  • Investigate customer complaints and assist with corrective action plans
  • Deliver ongoing food safety training and coaching to employees; escalate performance concerns when necessary
  • Verify HACCP plans and prerequisite programs, including microbiological control points
  • Conduct scheduled microbiological swabbing (e.g., equipment, drains) and interpret test results
  • Participate in GMP and facility audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Assist in staff performance evaluations with the department manager
  • Ensure food safety, cleanliness, organization, and product quality standards are met
  • Prepare and submit food safety and microbiology reports to management
  • Promote a safe work environment by ensuring adherence to all safety policies
  • Conduct and document pre-shift and post-shift GMP inspections
  • Calibrate QA/testing equipment and regularly verify sanitizer concentrations
  • Perform additional QA/QC duties as assigned by the QA Manager
