Job Title: Entry-Level Vending Service Technician

Pay: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour

ABOUT US:

Berkshire Food is a full-service vending company known for outstanding service and customer satisfaction. We’re looking for an Entry-Level Vending Service Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position with full training provided.

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Service Technician, you’ll learn to install, repair, and maintain a variety of vending equipment including snack, drink, cold food, and coffee machines. You’ll work in the field, respond to service calls, and help ensure our machines perform reliably for customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong mechanical aptitude (experience helpful but not required)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures
• Dependable with strong work ethic
• Ability to read schematics and work with computer hardware (a plus)
• HVAC or Type I Refrigeration Certification (a plus)
• Vending repair experience (a plus, but not required we will train)
• Moving experience (a plus, but not required)
• Ability to stay organized and manage parts/tools efficiently
• Must pass background check and drug screening

• Install, repair, and maintain vending machines and micro market equipment
• Diagnose issues and perform basic mechanical, electrical, or plumbing repairs
• Respond promptly to service calls
• Operate a company service truck safely
• Maintain accurate service logs and inventory of parts
• Build positive relationships with customers and gather feedback
• Follow scheduled maintenance procedures
• Dismantle and inspect machines to locate and fix malfunctions
