DHT is hiring at all facilities with additional Michigan locations in Newport and Port Huron and also Bellefontaine, Ohio. DHT has several divisions including Tanker, Gravel Train, Flatbed, Van, Excavating, and Landscape Supply. DHT also operates full-service repair facilities. Entry Level Service Technician Essential Duties: Install new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctly Educating the client on how to use and maintain their device Perform maintenance and provide customer support Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them Willingness to be trained on equipment and products Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers Build and maintain relationships with customers Requirements Ability to install, repair, service, and test, and troubleshoot equipment Ability to read blueprints and diagrams Flexibility to adhere to a Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:30AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional adaptability required beyond these hours Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills Working knowledge of equipment needed for the job Ability to work independently with little or no supervision Ability to meet physical demands of the job, to include bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces Drivers license and acceptable driving record for issuance of a take home company vehicle Ability to effectively manage time Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (some requirements may only be met after on the job training is received) Compensation: Competitive pay depending on qualifications and experience ($20-$32/hr starting wage) • Employee-Owned Company - Employee Stock • Paid Training Program • Pet Insurance • 401K with Partial Employer Match • Healthcare Insurance (Medical, Vision, Dental) after 30 days employment • Short-term & Long-term disability • Paid Vacation after 1 year employment.
