The Gund Company has an immediate opening for a full-time Entry Level Composites Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team!
Shift: First (6:30am - 3:00pm M-F)
Hourly Wage: $22.00 - $24.00
Plant/Work Location: 809 Philip Drive Waukesha, WI 53186

We are currently seeking an Entry Level Composites Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY COMPOSITES SHIPPING AND RECEIVING ASSOCIATE

  • Implement the Order Fulfillment Process steps related to the preparation of shipments and related documentation to ensure the complete satisfaction of the customer’s requirements.
  • Knowledge of various items in stock; ability to select appropriate type and size of container; using appropriate packing material to prevent breakage or damage; closing and sealing containers; applying labels or entering identifying data on container.
  • Use of bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices to track product.

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • A High School Diploma/GED OR related experience.
  • Ability to read production or shipping documents.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred

Responsibilities
  • Prepare product for shipment to the customer by inspecting, labeling and packaging product according to standard procedures.
  • Packaging 4x8, 3x6, and 3x10 material skids.
  • Confirm correct quantity/counts against work order or packing slip.
  • Reconcile raw materials against the packing slip.
  • Storage of raw materials in their designated home locations.
  • Operate forklift.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
