QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Health and Safety Administration role.
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or higher) — either completed or nearing completion.
  • A demonstrated interest in and commitment to developing a career in Safety, Health and Sustainability.
  • A willing and commitment to understand safety within the Transport and Logistics Supply Chain, Mining & Oil & Gas industries.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn on the job and start their career with Qube as an Entry Level Safety, Health & Sustainability Advisor with our Qube Energy team.
You’ll be embarking on an exciting journey with Qube Energy. It is more than a role; it’s an opportunity to grow your career in Safety, Health & Sustainability, further developing your skills to support the Perth SHS Team and contribute to operational safety and sustainability. You will be providing Safety Health & Sustainability (SHS) support, education and advice to the Qube Energy SHS Team, Perth Operational Leaders and Employees to help achieve Qube’s “BE SAFE” initiatives.

Position: Safety, Health & Sustainability Advisor (Entry Level)
Location: Based between Canning Vale and Hazelmere, Perth WA
Salary: $85,000 plus super

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Road Transport Safety and Compliance, including WAHVA and NHVR
  • Conducting comprehensive risk assessments across transport, warehousing, supply chain operations, and work environments under supervision.
  • Supporting the development and monitoring of training needs analyses and site training plans.
  • Assisting in the creation and review of site specific risk assessments, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Helping to develop site inductions aligned with Qube and client requirements.
  • Liaising with client representatives for joint risk assessments and SHS planning.
  • Supporting SHS consultation processes including committees, toolbox talks, and safety communications.
  • Contributing to the development of a consistent safety culture across all functions.
  • Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of SHS Management Plans.
  • Participating in and completing inspections and audits.
  • Supporting change management processes and ensuring compliance with objectives.
  • Assisting in return to work planning and stakeholder coordination.
  • Compiling monthly safety reports including incident data and performance indicators.
