We're one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. Join us. Job Description AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to be based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Assist in the structural analysis and preparation of design calculations. Develop or assist in developing structural details and construction plans. Prepare geometric/bridge layouts, construction specifications, and material quantity calculations. Successfully interface with staff from a range of other disciplines (highway, traffic, civil, planning, etc.) to support a diverse range of projects. Create new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges through a strong commitment to innovation. Always strive to give clients the best solutions and remain client focused. Maintain a high level of integrity by always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering with a focus on Structures (bridges). Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required. Preferred Qualifications: Degree focus on bridges or structures. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence. Strong technical and communication skills with a commitment to quality. Familiarity with AASHTO and INDOT design and standards. Computer skills desired include Finite Element Software, Bridge Design Software, Microsoft Office, and Computer Aided Drafting - preferably MicroStation. Progress toward professional licensure.
