OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for recent graduates in civil, structural or architectural engineering. It is preferred than the candidate has experience or taken a class in Structural Steel / Steel Connection design. The successful candidate will assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of various structural projects, working closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure high-quality outcomes.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design work.
  • Familiarity with FEA software for structural analysis.
  • Strong mathematical skills for calculations and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of project management principles to assist in scheduling and coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop structural designs and specifications for various projects. Most projects pertain to structural steel connections, design of stair, railings and other miscellaneous metals.
  • Assist in project scheduling and management to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Utilize software tools such as, RAM Element, RAM Connections, RISA-3D and AutoCAD for drafting and design purposes.
  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate structural performance under various conditions.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and documentation using Bluebeam and other drafting tools.
  • Participate in project engineering activities, including site visits and inspections as required.
  • Support the team in building project proposals and presentations.
