Description

Avbel Engineering is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or newly certified EIT interested in pursuing Professional Engineering (PE) licensure in Pennsylvania and other states.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (required).
  • EIT certification (preferred or in progress).
  • Interest in pursuing PE licensure.
  • Knowledge of structural engineering principles and design practices.
  • Familiarity with building codes and construction standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD, SAP2000, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with drafting/modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus.
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to project requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis and design of buildings and foundation systems.
  • Apply building codes and industry standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, etc.).
  • Review architectural and structural drawings for compliance with codes and design requirements.
  • Prepare calculations, sketches, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, builders, project managers, and clients.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Complete tasks within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Participate in site visits and construction inspections as needed.
