Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry-level Technical Design Analyst to join the MQ-25 Structures team located in Hazelwood, Missouri.
The MQ-25 is a new autonomous, unmanned carrier based refueling air vehicle. The MQ-25 program is working the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) of seven (7) flight vehicles and two (2) full-scale test articles for the U.S. Navy. The Airframe team is responsible for the design definition and structural analysis of the major structural components of the Air Vehicle. The design includes metallic substructure components, carbon fiber reinforced skins, and uses advanced assembly techniques for its state-of-the-art build.
The MQ-25 is currently built in two (2) locations with initial assembly in Berkeley, Missouri and final assembly in Mascoutah, Illinois with Engineering support located in Hazelwood, Missouri. The successful applicant is expected to provide as-needed in-person support at these locations as the assembly line transitions fully to Mascoutah, Illinois.
The MQ-25 uses a model-based design engineering release process and product data management tools. This is an excellent opportunity to experience early vehicle production and testing of a new franchise platform.
