We're one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. Join us. Job Description AECOM Water is seeking an Environmental or Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Austin, TX office. The qualified applicant will have familiarity and/or exposure to water/wastewater engineering and construction management principles. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to to support the design, construction, and operation of municipal water and/or wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Performs portions of assigned water and wastewater biologic treatment infrastructure related projects Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving design calculations, preparation of technical memorandum, preparation of contract documents such as specifications and drawings Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering Texas EIT 2+ Years of Treatment design experience Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in teams Flexible – can adapt to shifting priorities / work schedules Proficient in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) Participate as member of professional and technical societies Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
