• Independent execution and management of development activities for complex equipment and systems in the aviation industry
• Planning of development activities in coordination with the project team
• Requirements engineering according to aviation development processes
• Dimensioning, simulation and documentation of complex electronic systems and components
• Conceptual design and implementation of functional requirements in close coordination with hardware, software and firmware
• Integration into electronic systems and dimensioning of passive/smart sensors
• Independent commissioning and optimization of electronic systems including documentation
• Conducting or supervising analyses and development tests
• Creation and review of project-specific documents in accordance with predefined aviation processes.
• Support for projects, taking into account cost and time constraints

Qualifications:

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, control engineering, embedded systems, drive technology, aerospace engineering or similar qualification
• Good to very good language skills in English and German
• Proficient use of simulation tools, preferably MATLAB/Simulink
• Knowledge of using requirements management tools
• Experience in handling international projects
• Professional experience in the development of complex, safety-critical electronic systems, preferably in the aerospace sector, is an advantage.
• Knowledge in the areas of commissioning, troubleshooting, instrumentation and debugging is an advantage.
• Knowledge of standards-based aviation development processes is an advantage.
