Overview Job Summary: The EVS Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of a given shift to include: delegating assignments, receiving unscheduled calls/requests, safety huddles, rounding, inspecting housekeeper’s work, editing time and attendance, scheduling, and ordering supplies. The supervisor will also ensure proper coverage of all areas within the scope of their shift. The supervisor is expected to monitor discharges and provide timely response to ensure efficient throughput/patient flow. In the absence of the director, the supervisor will participate in the daily safety call and be the point person for the department. Demonstrates through behavior Decatur Morgan Hospital’s mission, vision and values. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions 1. Delegation of assignments and supervision of daily operations on a given shift. 2. Daily rounding and inspections to include all areas of the facility. 3. Time and attendance editing (Kronos) 4. Managing bedflow to include discharge room cleaning assignments. 5. Ordering department supplies. 6. Scheduling. Qualifications Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: Basic computer skills required Education: High School preferred Experience: Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience (preferably housekeeping)
