ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environment and Carbon Analyst to join our Sustainability team. Reporting to the Senior Climate Action & Engagement Manager, this role combines carbon data analysis with climate action and stakeholder engagement, supporting Springer Nature’s commitment to science-based climate targets and meaningful environmental impact.
You will play a key role in improving the accuracy and effectiveness of our carbon data reporting, supporting internal and external disclosures, and contributing to projects that enhance data quality and drive carbon reduction. Beyond data, you will actively engage with teams across the organization to embed climate action into decision-making, operations, and culture.
With support from experienced specialists and external consultants, you’ll help ensure our reporting aligns with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), GHG Protocol and CSRD requirements, while also contributing to initiatives that reduce emissions and foster climate awareness.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with some experience in carbon footprint anaylsis who is eager to deepen their expertise in carbon accounting, reporting tools, and sustainability frameworks—while making a tangible impact within a global company committed to climate action.
This role can be in our Berlin or London offices on a hybrid working model.
