In Australia we own and manage the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine, and the Tropicana Gold Mine (70% AGA owned 30% Regis Resources). These are two of Western Australia’s premier gold operations, with ongoing investment and exploration taking place across both open pit and underground operations at each site.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Support the GFXA team to acquire and maintain requisite environmental compliance and reporting for exploration activities.
• Contribute to statutory Environmental reports and ensure accurate internal reporting of Environmental performance.
• Assist with the implementation and enforcement of Greenfields Exploration protocols and procedures to undertake exploration activities in a safe and responsible manner
• Support the maintenance and improvement of the HSEC Management System.
• Work with the Database and GIS team to maintain a system for environment and community data capture, including spatial environmental data.
• Engage with tenement management team to maintain Environmental component of Tenement Management software system.
• Conduct and support on ground environment and heritage surveys.
• Support the land access team with stakeholder engagement, including Traditional Owners, landowners and government regulators.Model behaviour that is consistent with the Anglo Gold Ashanti HSECS Vision, Values and Procedures.
