SK9 are working with a successful industry leader who are hiring for an accomplished Health and Safety professional with a strong background in the Environmental side of Health and Safety, where you will embed the EPA’s Corporate Governance Framework into the core of this business’s operations.
Reporting directly to site Management, you will be responsible for the overall direction of the EH&S onsite and managing site safety and environmental activities in line with relevant Group and regulatory requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver programs, policies, and procedures to ensure that the site complies with all EHS requirements.

• Offer expert advice and support to management and employees on all environmental, health and safety matters, with a strong focus on accident prevention, hazard identification, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Develop and implement robust environmental, health and safety policies and procedures that align with local regulations, industry best practices, and our company’s objectives.
• Formulate, introduce, manage, plan, schedule, govern and sustain an environmental, health & safety audit and surveillance structure to evaluate conformance to our environmental, health and safety polices and framework, also ensuring compliance to the local environmental & safety regulations.
• Conduct thorough incident investigations to uncover root causes, recommend corrective actions, and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences.
