POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist based in its Montreal, QC manufacturing facility. The EHS Specialist plays a key role in promoting a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace. This individual will collaborate across departments, working closely with supervisors and plant personnel to ensure EHS policies and procedures are understood, implemented, and consistently followed throughout the facility.

• Design and execute Environment Health & Safety programs and operating procedures
• Plan, organize, and facilitate EHS training sessions and awareness activities for employees
• Actively contribute to health and safety committee meetings and support environmental initiatives
• Lead investigations of workplace incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive measures
• Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by the EHS Manager to help departments meet safety and environmental goals
