We offer a range of settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, and outpatient counseling and therapies. Overview This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients as a Environment of Care Director at Perimeter Behavioral Health. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining all electrical and mechanical systems are in good repair and to ensure that facility fire and safety practices are in accordance with established policy and adherence to all state and local building and fire codes and Joint Commission standards. Responsibilities Function independently as the safety officer, ensuring facility compliance with safety standards set by regulatory bodies, conducting regular safety inspections, and overseeing life safety drills as required. Develop and manage a competent workforce by scheduling, leading, instructing, directing maintenance and housekeeping staff while promoting their personal growth through periodic evaluations. Manage and report on utility and repair budgets, planning expenditures, and conducting cost analysis for maintenance and housekeeping to maintain acceptable costs per patient. Inspect facility equipment and grounds to identify maintenance needs, executing corrective and preventative maintenance by assigning duties to the maintenance and housekeeping teams. Maintain high standards of cleanliness ad safety throughout the facility and grounds through effective management and oversight of maintenance operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Must be 21 years of age 4+ years of experience in maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment including air conditioning, preferred 2+ years management experience. 2+ years experience in housekeeping and laundry. The regular work week is Monday-Friday, 0700-1600 with on-call status. Must be flexible to meet the needs of the facility; must be willing and able to respond immediately. Physical capability to bend, stoop, lift, and assist with patient interventions; life and/or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
