Job Title: Environment Project Controls Coordinator II
Location: Edmonton, AB
Our client is seeking an Environment Project Controls Coordinator II to join their team. As a Project Controls Coordinator, you will be part of the project management team supporting environmental initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, which will align successfully in the organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Lead and coordinate the creation of purchase orders for environmental project staff using Oracle Cloud
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure smooth processing
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and serve as a liaison between vendors, project teams, and finance
  • Develop and maintain project controls deliverables including cost reports, schedule reports, and variance analyses
  • Perform quality control on all project control documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, a technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience with 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Oracle Cloud, including creating purchase orders and navigating the Oracle environment
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • 3-5 years of experience in project controls or accounting within a related industry
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix organizational structure and manage multiple stakeholders
