THE OPPORTUNITY:

Are you an enthusiastic individual with the ability to work effectively within independent and team environments? Reporting to the Operations Environment Lead, you will be a key player in an exciting, dynamic team of professionals, managing waste disposal, water tracking, spill clean-up and cost tracking & invoicing. Challenge yourself in an environment that encourages innovative ideas. You will be part of a dynamic company that uses training, mentorship, and hands-on experience as development tools.

  • Job location: Calgary, Alberta
  • Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts
  • Safety sensitive position: No

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Work with existing tracking sheets and review environmental reports
  • Regulatory submission of drilling waste and completion water reports
  • Cost tracking (input cost into Wellview, Siteview and PACE)
  • Maintain safety ticket tracking for the team
  • Filing electronic and physical documents
Responsibilities
  • Diploma or Degree in environmental science is considered and asset
  • Previous work in the oil and gas industry, particularly environmental and/or field operations experience is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills are required, as is maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-starters with a strong work ethic demonstrating excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal and communication skills
