Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Working collaboratively with other functions from early works and design through construction to commissioning, proactively engaging with operational teams and client Environmental and Sustainability team to promote collaboration and ensuring projects meet environmental and sustainability requirements,
  • Supporting the design team in the identification of environmental hazards and constraints, and engaging with third party and sub-contractors to deliver environmental and ecological surveys, planning permissions, permits and consents to enable construction.
  • Provide advice and guidance on environmental and sustainability initiatives, solutions and encourage continual improvement through proactive engagement with operational teams, regularly visiting sites to conduct inspections and incident investigations.
  • You will develop waste and environmental management plans, environmental risk assessments and where necessary support the operational team in the identification, and implementation of suitable control measures, training and briefings.
  • Compile environmental and sustainability reports and maintain regular reporting mechanisms.
  • You will have the opportunity to suggest, communicate and promote improvement initiatives, while monitoring compliance with both MGroup and our clients requirements.
