Description Environmental Associate 2 – DC Metro Region TTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm serving government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide. Headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey, TTI’s team of experienced, certified, and licensed professionals work directly with clients to provide sound solutions to environmental challenges. TTI is seeking a motivated professional to join our Environmental Consulting Division as a full-time Environmental Associate 2. Ideal candidates will reside in the DC Metro region. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the environmental consulting field. This position is primarily remote and field-based, with work done from home and at client sites, along with reimbursable monthly reporting to our Moorestown headquarters. Responsibilities Due diligence projects including TSAs, Phase I/II ESAs, RSRA in accordance with ASTM International standards A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is a research-based report conducted to identify potential environmental contamination on a property A Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is a detailed, intrusive subsurface investigation conducted to confirm or rule out the presence of hazardous substances or petroleum products on a property An RSRA (Records Search with Risk Assessment) is an expedited, cost-effective desktop screening tool used in commercial real estate to determine the likelihood of environmental contamination Performance or oversight of field activities and appropriate reporting for regulatory cases in the DC Metro region Sampling of soil, groundwater, vapor, and indoor air Reporting in accordance with state regulatory requirements Qualifications & Requirements At least 3-5 years of direct regional experience in the environmental consulting and due diligence field (direct experience with ASTM E1527) B.S. in a related field such as Environmental Geology, Environmental Science, Geological Sciences, Biology, Chemistry or Environmental Engineering OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operator Certification a plus Excellent computer skills Ability to self-manage in a remote position Ability to independently develop and write proposals Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with ability to write clear, concise and thorough environmental reports Must have a personal vehicle for independent transportation to work sites when required and maintain a clean driving record Must reside in the DC Metro region Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Compensation & Benefits TTI offers a dynamic team environment with excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
