Job Description We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic team in Dubai, As a key member of our organization, you will lead and oversee complex, high-profile projects, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion. Support delivery of environmental permitting, ESIA studies, and technical environmental assessments for civil infrastructure projects. Assist in identifying environmental impacts and developing practical mitigation and monitoring measures across design, construction, and operational phases. Prepare Environmental Management Plans (EMP), monitoring programs, compliance documentation, and permit applications. Provide environmental and sustainability advisory input to design, Liaise with local authorities and regulators (e.g., Dubai Municipality/DECCA, Trakhees, EAD) as part of permitting and approval processes. Undertake site visits, inspections, environmental monitoring, and auditing activities to support compliance. Prepare clear, concise, and high-quality technical reports and regulatory submissions. Support data collection, environmental baseline inputs, and specialist coordination and stakeholder engagement activities. Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. Support waste management strategy development and waste assessment processes. Contribute to the coordination and documentation required for sustainability certification and rating systems (e.g., Estidama, LEED, Envision). Demonstrate a proactive approach to developing technical knowledge, regulatory understanding, and progress toward professional registration. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field; post-graduate qualification desirable. Typically, 3 years + of relevant experience within a consultancy environment. Proven experience delivering sustainability strategies and certifications on projects in the UAE. Strong working knowledge of Estidama, Al Sa’fat, LEED, WELL, and Barjeel. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with sustainability tools and submission platforms is advantageous.
