FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an entry-level Environmental Consultant to join our fast-growing sustainability consulting firm. You’ll provide impactful contributions to projects that tackle real-world environmental and social challenges.
The ideal candidate will support a variety of client projects across multiple industry sectors, with a primary focus on plastics recycling, ESG reporting, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), environmental policy research, and Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs). We’re looking for someone with:
-A foundational understanding of environmental policy and regulations
-Strong analytical and technical writing skills
-A proactive, self-starting attitude and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
We welcome applicants from a range of academic backgrounds, including but not limited to public policy, scientific disciplines such as chemistry and biology, economics, data science, or business.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
-Strong communication and teamwork skills
-Ability to interpret, visualize, and communicate data effectively
-Background in rigorous academic or scientific research
PREFERRED SKILLS
Candidates with the following skills will be given priority:
-2+ years of work experience in environmental consulting or a similar role
-Knowledge of recycling and environmental policy
-Familiarity with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) legislation and policy
-Experience conducting or contributing to Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), Life Cycle Evaluations (LCEs), or Life Cycle Inventories (LCIs)
-Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python, or similar)

Pay: $59,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
