We have an immediate opening for an ECU Service & Repair Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental control systems, with a focus on repair and service of Environmental Control Units (ECUs). · Confer with Supervisor and utilize strong communication and critical thinking skills to determine repair priorities. · Repair/correct/troubleshoot ECU system operation issues and accessories by investigating system setup, mechanical operations, and electrical/electronic operation. · Assist in failure analysis and investigations by providing technical insights and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to develop sound corrective actions. · Support training efforts during customer sessions by providing instructions for field replacement of components. · Ensure products are manufactured, assembled, and tested in compliance with product drawings, BOMs, approved workmanship standards, and work instructions. Requirements EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE: · High school/Vo-tech diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience, or associate degree with 3+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and service, including refrigeration circuit and electrical troubleshooting. · Ability to read and interpret work orders, sheet metal part drawings, schematics, wiring, refrigeration diagrams, and assembly drawings. · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback. · Ability to work independently. · Preferred experience in industrial HVAC equipment assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. · Brazing and Refrigerant Handling experience. · EPA Section 608 Certificate (minimum Level I & II). · IPC 620 Certification. · J-Std-001 Certification. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: · Occasional travel is required to provide field service and support. Flexibility in travel schedule is necessary.
