ALD Group and its subsidiaries provide a range of turnkey services within the defit, stripout, demolition and site establishment within the commercial sector. We are looking for an experienced Environmental Engineer to join us.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental engineering or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and standards including knowledge of international processes.
  • Experience with environmental impact assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and environmental modelling software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) and feasibility studies for construction projects in compliance with our Greenstar rating.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize environmental impacts during project execution.
  • Oversee waste management plans, erosion control, and pollution prevention initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project teams to incorporate sustainable practices into design and construction processes.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Monitor and report on environmental performance and sustainability metrics.
  • Provide technical advice and training to staff on environmental policies and best practices.
