    Chatoyer Environmental has an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified Environmental Engineer to join their innovative team!
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Preparing product drawings in CAD, maintaining a comprehensive drawing library, and managing technical documentation
  • Supporting research and development initiatives to improve production methods and workflows
  • Providing technical support to the sales team and designing solutions to meet client requirements
  • Conducting site visits with the sales team to understand client needs and recommend optimal solutions
  • Planning production activities, including labour and material resource allocation, ensuring delivery timelines are met
  • Ensuring safe and reliable operation of machinery and championing OH&S compliance and QA procedures
  • Managing procurement tasks, including negotiating with suppliers and ensuring materials meet specifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or a relevant TAFE qualification with experience).
  • 1-2 years’ experience in production, fabrication, or engineering (graduates with relevant practical experience will also be considered)
  • Proficiency in CAD, ERP systems, and Excel (intermediate level preferred)
  • An energetic and hands-on approach, with a willingness to work both in the office and on-site, contributing proactively to projects and team collaboration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail
  • An interest in sustainable practices and product life cycle analysi
