Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible. Job Description: Parsons is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental Engineer to join our team in Tabuk. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all stages of our large-scale infrastructure and construction projects comply with local and international environmental regulations. You will oversee environmental impact assessments, develop mitigation strategies, manage waste and water conservation programs, and perform field audits to protect the surrounding ecosystems while supporting sustainable development. What You'll Be Doing Review, implement, and monitor project-specific Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs). Conduct regular on-site environmental audits and inspections to assess compliance with national regulations (e.g., NCEC standards) and international frameworks. Oversee and validate environmental monitoring programs, including air quality, noise levels, soil contamination, and wastewater discharge. Evaluate contractor submittals, method statements, and sustainability reports to ensure eco-friendly construction practices. Identify potential environmental risks or non-conformances on-site and collaborate with construction teams to implement swift, effective corrective actions. Prepare detailed environmental performance reports, incident logs, and compliance documentation for project leadership and regulatory authorities. What Required Skills You'll Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering with an environmental focus, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. Professional certifications (e.g., LEED, IEMA, or equivalent) are highly advantageous. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive professional experience in environmental engineering and compliance, preferably within mega-infrastructure or large-scale land development projects. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of environmental impact assessments (EIA), waste management strategies, and pollution control technologies. Familiarity with Saudi Arabian environmental laws and regulations (National Center for Environmental Compliance) is critical. What Desired Skills You'll Bring Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to write clear, technically precise compliance reports and interface confidently with clients and regulators. Arabic language skills are a strong asset.
