Company Description Our client is a global multi-energy company operating large-scale refining and petrochemical facilities. It transforms crude oil into fuels and essential industrial products through highly integrated and technologically advanced operations. The AMIRAL project is a flagship petrochemicals expansion initiative by TotalEnergies and Saudi Aramco, integrated with their joint venture SATORP refinery in Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ​ The project includes a mixed-feed steam cracker producing 3.5 MT/y of chemicals, high-value petrochemicals, HDPE units, and supporting utilities, storages, off-sites, and buildings. ​ With a total CAPEX exceeding $10 billion and additional investments of $3 billion, the project spans 4.5 years and involves 100 million manhours and 25,000 workers at peak. ​ The PMT team, comprising 350 personnel, will oversee the execution of six EPCC packages, with operations based in Europe, Korea, and Saudi Arabia during the detailed engineering phase, followed by relocation to Jubail for construction, commissioning, and start-up activities. ​ Job Description 1. Ensure compliance with the CEMP (Construction Environmental Management plan and procedures) 2. Establish the PMT and project CO2 emissions balance and survey and propose CO2 reductions 3. Supervise and audit the EPC Contractors Environmental activities related but not limited to: Water, waste, CO2 emissions, Noise and Air quality, chemicals and hazardous material. 4. To review, approve the EPC Contractors Environmental organizations and plans 5. To control the contractors’ performances, compliance and monitor the correctives’ actions 6. To implement and lead the environmental inspection program as well as the mitigation measures in case of environmental impacts 7. To ensure the environmental reports are issued timely, including the required data 8. Support and contribute to the review by the PMT EPCC package of the Contractor HSE Plans, CEMP, corresponding procedures, plans and registers and HSE management systems in regard to the project HSE and contract requirements 9. Lead the EIA update, develop a continuous improvement program and issue the weekly, monthly S.E.S reports, Develop the environmental survey program, means and HMI of the future AMIRAL installations after handover, in collaboration with SATORP and package 04 PMT, and according to the project risk assessments, safety studies and close-out requirements and to support in the development of any plan or procedure related to the licensing 10. Ensure RCER 2015 compliance support for EPC & EPO.
